Three Please

On Monday 22nd April members met for the final meeting of the club. The evening commenced with a short EGM to ratify the proposal made at the AGM that the Club should be wound up on the 30th April 2024. and this was carried.
The end of Season Awards were presented next and both the Print Trophy and the Projected Image Trophy went to Steve Presnell who had gained the most points over the season.
An extra PDI competition was projected next and this was judged by the members voting for their favourite image in each round. The eventual winner was Steve Presnell with an amusing image of three Dartmoor Ponies at the window of an Ice Cream Van, titled 'Three Please'.The evening rounded off with coffee and snacks and a presentation to David and Sue Mortimer in recognition and appreciation of over 60 years dedication to the running of the Club. David said' It is sad to say goodby to a Club that has been a part of Minehead for 76 years' and he wished everybody success in the future with their photography.
