The 73rd Annual General Meeting was scheduled to be held on Monday 1st February at the Sainsbury Community Hall. Due to the on going pandemic and lockdown, this meeting was held instead online and email. This is the first time in our long history that an AGM has not taken place in our usual venue.
We had managed to hold our regular meetings from January to the beginning of March before the 1st lockdown came into force.
Since then, we have successfully held our main competitions, thanks to our Judges who had all agreed to assess our work from their homes and to provide written comments on each entry before awarding places.
This has worked well and kept our members busy finding new images to submit.
We hope that this Autumn will enable us once again to hold face to face fortnightly meetings with lectures and guest speakers to rejuvenate the club and attract new members.
