The first meeting of 2018 was held on Monday 8th January at the Club's venue, Sainsbury Community Hall. The theme for this competition was "Waves" and produced waves in all it's forms from rough seas, rock strata, surf patterns, flags waving to sound waves and more.
Members showed great imagination in interpreting this set subject.
Our Judge for the evening was a long standing friend of the Club, George Reekie from Taunton. We always enjoy his helpful comments and good natured banter, even if we didn't all agree on the final outcome.
Everyone gained something from the evening especially during the second half when George, using some of his own images, demonstrated the benefits of using Raw Files to bring out the best from our images and showing examples of before and after processing.
