The 76th AGM was held at the Sainsbury Community Hall on Monday 5th February attended by the majority of the membership.
The Chairman in his report said for the second year following the pandemic, we were once again able to hold face to face meetings and return to live judging. The competitions had been well supported and the standard of work had been raised and this had been noted by our various Judges.
He went on to outline the various activities that had taken place during the year, with reference to events such as two excellent PAGB recorded lectures by Canon. One on Landscape photography and the other on Close-Up and Macro. Both tutorials were packed with information and tips.
Members contributed with talks, Cherrie Temple shared her experiences from her trip to Iceland and Steve Presnell gave us a talk on minimalism and negative space in the frame.
Following the break, we had the opportunity to view the WCPF Members Print Competition 2023 which showcases the work from some of the many clubs in our Federation.
