Members met on Monday 3rd February for the 3rd in our series of competitions, the theme for this was 'Urban Landscape' which presented a wide range of interpretation and varied images both in the Prints and PDI's.
Our Judge for the evening was Susanne Akerstrom assisted by husband Charles. It was about 4 years ago that they last visited the club and we all eagerly awaited her comments.
She started by outlining her interpretation of the theme and was looking for originality and how each author had portrayed their work.
Susanne had previously viewed our work and was able to give an in depth critique on each entry as they were presented, before announcing the results.
Both Susanne and Charles commented that for a small club. our work was of a very high standard.
In summing up, the Chairman thanked them for the time spent in helpful and constructive remarks which everyone had appreciated, and looked forward to a return visit next season.
