The members were welcomed back on the 7th October, by the Chairman, for the start of the new season.
During the Summer recess, members were given a project to photograph any subject of their choice in macro or close-up and some excellent images were shown from insects to flowers a some imaginative work was also presented.
One of the highlights of the summer was a field trip to the Valley of the Rocks at Lynton. Members gathered at the carpark on a very warm and sunny day to explore the area, meeting back at Mother Meldrum's Café for a scrumptious tea later in the afternoon.
The images taken on the day were shown and a variety of different work covering the landscape, fauna and flora, including the iconic feral Goats, which roam the cliff tops, were also seen.
Following the break we all sat back to view some of the accepted and award winning work entered into the 40th Welsh International Salon. All agreed this had been a very interesting evening to start off the season.
