The Final competition of the 2018/19 season was held on Monday 1st of April and this one decided the final positions for the Annual Awards. We once again had the company of a long time friend and supporter of the Club, John Harmsworth to appraise our work. John was faced with many interpretations on the theme 'Curves' some kept to the script, and others more loosely. John had spent a considerable amount of time previously looking at the entry and gave each piece of work some helpful and constructive comments both in the prints and the PDI's. He and Heather both commented, that for a small club, our work was of a very high standard, which was most encouraging.
Following the break, John presented a short talk on his journey into photography from the family Box Brownie up to todays modern cameras with many examples of his early darkroom prints and colour prints including some from Heather covering a wide range of interests over the years.
The Chairman in thanking John and Heather, expressed the Club's appreciation for another superb evening and for the help and support they had given to the Club over many years and hoped that this special relationship would continue.
