Due to the snow and bad weather on the 5th March, the planned competition night had to be cancelled. Re-scheduling for the 12th, members regrouped once again for this competition, the set theme for which was "Abstract".
Our Judge for the evening was Maureen Dennis APAGB from Baunton, a long time friend and supporter of the Club. We had presented her with a wide range of subjects some very good interpretations of the theme were seen, but a few not quite appreciating the subject.
Maureen commented on each entry with her usual humour and constructive advise, before announcing the overall results. Following the coffee break, Maureen presented a selection of her favourite projected images taken in such places as Northumberland, Lake District, and her own back garden. She explained how and why she had taken the images and these ranged from Flowers, Birds, Otters, Squirrels to rose gardens, still life, macro and collages.
We all enjoyed another evening with our good friend, Maureen.
