Monday 6th November was the first Competition of the new season. The set theme was to be "Open Monochrome" for both the prints and projected images, and this proved to be a challenge for many of the members as this was the first time they had converted their images to Mono.
Our Judge for the evening was a good friend of the Club, Chris Mowthorpe from the Phoenix Group in Taunton. Chris specialized in Monochrome, and was the perfect choice for this competition. He spent some time giving constructive and helpful comments to entrants on their work which was much appreciated by us all.
It turned out to be a vey popular subject and no doubt we will be seeing more first class mono images in the future at the Club.
