Members met on Monday 9th October for the first meeting of the new season. On the last evening before the Summer recess, members each drew two subjects to be interpreted and photographed during the Summer. The results from the project were screened and some very imaginative images were shown, all agreed this had been fun to do.
On a wet Saturday in June, members braved the misty drizzle to capture the sights around Porlock Weir and later retreated to a nearby Café for a well deserved cream tea. The results of this field trip were also show on Monday and despite the weather, some very good images had been achieved.
Following the break, we viewed a CD of the 2016 Kohinoor Digital Salon, from India. We looked at the accepted entries in the Monochrome section which was of particular interest as the first competition of the year will be "Open Monochrome".
