On Monday 8th May members gathered for the last meeting before the Summer recess and the presentation of the Trophies and Certificates in recognition of their achievements during the past year.
The results were as follows, Class One Members Prints: 1st David Mortimer, 2nd Stuart Warstat and 3rd Bill Selby.
Class Two, Digital Projected Images: 1st Sue Mortimer, 2nd Stuart Warstat and 3rd. Cherrie Temple.
After a break for refreshments, members viewed the WCPF 2016 Members Exhibition, the standard of which was very high. Subjects covered the whole spectrum from traditional landscapes to imaginative creative work now being produced by some workers. Two of our own members secured several acceptances this year.
Following the draw for subjects to be taken during the recess, the chairman wished everyone a very productive summer and that he looked forward to seeing a lot of new work when we re-convened on the 9th. October 2017.
