Member of the Club met at their usual venue on a wet and windy night. On the programme, was the viewing of digital images from International Salon Photography 2014/2015.
David, our Chairman, started by describing exactly what the requirements are to exhibit in the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP). By way of introduction, he had brought along a number of prints which have been accepted for FIAP exhibitions. He also explained how he had achieved some of these images and how applying the correct crop or filter could vastly improve the end result. To have a series of modified images, showing a gradual progression to the optimal result, was highly informative.

The two FIAP Salons that we viewed were, International Salon of Photographic Art, Bucharest, Romania and the Everest International Digital Salon from Fotoclub Siliguri, India.
The Images were obviously of a very high quality, but can provide valuable inspiration and ideas for camera club members. It was a very enjoyable evening.
