Members met on Monday 23rd January for the second of the new seasons Competitions. The theme was Scapes and included Land, Sea and City as subjects. There was a variety of content from coastal scenes, mountains and dramatic images of Exmoor and Dartmoor.
To Judge the competition this time, and paying his first live visit to the Club, we welcomed Jon Peters from Bradford-on-Tone. Jon had previously looked at the work submitted and was able to give us some detailed and constructive feedback in his comments as each image was displayed.
He said it had been difficult to separate the winners as there had been a lot of good work entered, but after some deliberation he finally awarded the top placings.
Everyone had enjoyed his comments and we all gained some knowledge from his tips on post processing.
We all hoped that we would be able to persuade him back again in the future.
