Monday 7th November members met for the first competition of the new season. This meeting was eagerly awaited as it was the first time we had had a live Judge since the start of the pandemic.
Making a welcome return to the club was our Judge for the evening, Chris Mowthorpe from the Phoenix Group of Photographers in Taunton.
Chris was the ideal choice to look at our work as he has held a long time passion for black and white photography. Chris had spent some time previously looking at our images and was able to comment at length on each image presented. His comments were both helpful and constructive before revealing the final results.
To end the evening Chris's partner Lynne, presented a selection of her own Prints which we all enjoyed viewing as they were of a very high standard indeed.
The evening was declared a success by all present, thanks to having the Judge with us in person.
